Chinese New Year Eve 2008

After the 'Grand' Dinner with my family at home. I just thought of going down to KL again like last year. I expected to see empty streets, but instead, there's traffic jam in some of the streets.

Before I get going into my car. I made some Pesto sauce for tomorrow's Lunch. yeah, I'm making Pasta in Pesto sauce tomorrow noon.

Here's how I did it on the first day (you have to prepare the sauce 1-2 days before serving)

Pesto Sauce Part 1:


Okay, first you chop up some Oregano herbs & Thai Basil into small pieces (Only the leafs are used)


Then add some salt to taste


Then add white pepper flakes to get the pepper taste


then add in olive oil and let it sit in for a night until the fragrance comes out into the oil.

So I went down to pick my friend up, the usual Chinese Restaurant - Paris was close. And the street was sure quiet at this time.
